SoCal EMS Training Institute is conveniently located in the community of Wildomar, California. We provide numerous types of EMS education including EMT training, EMT refresher, BLS/CPR, ACLS and other continuing education courses to those currently working in or new to the healthcare
profession. We also offer low cost classes with start times that often work around
the typical Monday –Friday work schedule to promote convenient access to those
with busy lifestyles. The SoCal EMS Training Institute curriculum was established
by experienced registered nurses and paramedics who have over 50 combined
years of experience working and teaching in the emergency medical field.
Emergency Medical Technician or EMT is considered an entry level position into
the field of emergency medical services. Being certified as an EMT is a
prerequisite to paramedic school and provides person students who complete
the course with the opportunity to seek employment in emergency departments,
ambulance services and fire services.

Flight Paramedic, Clinical Coordinator
Jonny started his EMS career in 2009 as an EMT. He worked for a local BLS ambulance company and as a reserve firefighter. He attended Paramedic School in 2014 at Palomar College. Jonny worked for Escondido Fire Department as a Non-Safety Paramedic and Firefighter for 8 years and currently he works for Mercy Air as a Flight Paramedic.

Born in Southern California, Jade has been in EMS for over a decade. She has worked in the field as an EMT and in hospitals as an ER Tech. She went to Paramedic School in 2011 and worked for AMR Hemet as a Paramedic. Jade has worked for SoCal EMS for the last 8 years as a Primary and Skills instructor and is currently the Program director.

Albert started his EMS career in 2008 and attended EMT school at MSJC. He worked for AMR Riverside before going to Paramedic School in 2013. He re-classed as a Paramedic in 2014. Albert has worked as a paramedic preceptor and is a primary instructor with SoCal EMS Training Institute.
EMT, Primary Instructor
Greg has over 30 years of experience in the EMS field. He worked as an EMT for a private ambulance before going to Paramedic School at Harbor/ UCLA Hospital. He retired from Alhambra and Orange County Fire Authority as a Parademic-Engineer with 30 years of service. Greg has worked for Disneyland Fire Department for the last 5 years and has been an EMT instructor since the early 90’s. Greg is currently a Primary Instructor and has been with SoCal EMS since 2017.

Baruc has been in EMS since 2017. He started out working on an ambulance in the 911 system in SD county and then moved over to Riverside county. Currently, I work at Rancho Springs emergency department as an ER Technician. I love both prehospital EMS and patient care in the hospital setting. Serving others as an EMS provider is something that I’ve always loved. Being able to bring that experience into my role as an instructor is a huge honor and privilege for me.

C. Revey Jones is a paramedic for AMR Hemet. Jones has two Bachelor's degrees: one in American Studies and the other in Film Studies. She also has a Master's degree in Communications (Film Writing) all from her alma mater: Cal State University, Fullerton. After Jones worked in the film indury for a couple of years she experienced a life-altering event that inspired her to become a first responder. Jones went back to school and received an Associate in Paramedicine.

I currently work for AMR Hemet, and have been there for about 4 years. I’ve been teaching at SoCal for two years now, both as a Primary Instructor and Skills Instructor. I think it’s important for students to know that I was a blue shirt before I became a red shirt, so I can relate to where you are with this program specifically, and have a huge passion for building strong EMT’s to send out into the field. I look forward to seeing you in the classroom!

Chace worked as an EMT for San Bernardino and Hemet AMR for over two and a half years. He then attended Paramedic School at Victor Valley College and is currently working for AMR Hemet full time as a Paramedic.
ER Technician, Skills Instructor
Born and raised in Southern California, Jordan pursued her EMT trade in between her undergrad and graduate degree. She currently works in the ER at our local trauma center and has held positions with AMR San Bernardino, the LA County Coroner/Pathology, Event Medics, and Home Health agencies.

Matt is originally from Hesperia. Before becoming an EMT he served in the United States Navy as a Master at Arms for 7 years. In the Navy he specialized in combat medicine, military working dog handling, and small boat tactics. His favorite duty station was in Washington. He attended EMT school at SoCal EMS in 2022 and has worked at Inland Valley Medical Center in the ER and ICU. He also owns an automotive company called “RLNTLSS Wraps” which specializes in vehicle wraps.

Hey my name is Austen Scroggins. I am an Engineer/Paramedic for Cal Fire Riverside County and am currently assigned to station 10 in the City of Lake Elsinore. I have been teaching at So Cal EMS for over 6 years now and love to teach and help the new generation grow a passion for EMS like I have. Gwyneth has always had a huge passion for helping others and making an impact both on and off the clock. She has held positions in forestry conservation and Inter-facility Transport and she is currently employed full-time as an EMT with AMR LA County, responding to 911 calls in South Central LA. Gwyneth brings a compassionate, diligent, optimistic, and collaboration-oriented mindset wherever she goes.
